• Bedtime always comes too early
• Sharing is good, but some things are your own
• Skin can be any color and still be beautiful, and the sky can sometimes be pink with orange polka dots instead of blue with white clouds
• It’s okay to color outside the lines
• No one died from eating candy once in a while
• Everyone is a prince or princess in the making
• Mom and Dad are the best, even when they aren’t fair
• A bad day only has to last a few hours
• Explore things, even when it’s scary
• Stripes and plaids can make a cool combination
• Outdoors feels more fun, even in the rain
• Going barefoot beats wearing shoes
• Dirt comes off, so don’t worry about it so much
• I can be one way today and another way the next and that’s okay
• I’m not always hungry at the same times each day
• People and life and the world are more good than bad
